Funny you say that, because she was almost left on the side of a mountain between Jasper and Lake Louise. She would not stop screaming and Kevin and I looked at each other at one point and we were both thinking that we would leave her there with the bears!

Thankfully, it appears that she has finally outgrown that and we can actually relax on our vacations!

I hate car trips with a passion ever since I was old enough to realize what was going on!! And I remember when we were kids in PL, being totally amazed at how you all could survive trips to Thunder Bay, or even just to Ignace, with all 7 of you in one vehicle when I couldn't even stand it with just the 4 of us!!! And I also feel your pain as it relates to having one kidlet who is a traveller and one who is NOT! My youngest was HELL to travel with for years and his worst years were when we used to make a monthly (if not more) trip to see my parents - more than once, he almost got left at a rest area on I-75 for wolves to find and raise as their own! He grew out of it, thank goodness, and is now as easy to roam around with as his older brother - and I know I am reading posts and commenting backwards, but from the success of your trip to MN, it looks there's light at the end of the tunnel and you won't have to leave Rachel at a rest area some day either!! tee hee......

Exactly! Why is it that vacations with kids require their own vacations afterward?? Best of luck! :-D
